De grootste artsenvereniging van de Amerikaanse staat Californië, de California Medical Assocation, heeft een resolutie aangenomen om de legalisering van medicinale cannabis te ondersteunen, zo meldt de Los Angeles Times.

De steun komt nadat openbaar aanklagers van de staat dreigden licenties van apotheken waar cannabis wordt verstrekt in te trekken als ze niet binnen 45 dagen hun deuren zouden sluiten.

Daarnaast dreigden ze kranten, radiostations en andere media aan te vallen die reclame maken voor apotheken waar medicinale cannabis kan worden verkregen.

De California Medical Assocation heeft laten weten dat de discrepantie tussen federale wetten en de wetten van de staat Californië een onhoudbare situatie schept voor artsen. Het gebruik van cannabis voor medicinale doeleinden is in Californië legaal, maar de Amerikaanse wet stelt dat het een ‘gevaarlijke drug is zonder medicinale waarde’.

“Het creëert een uiterst oncomfortabele positie voor doktoren,” zei Dr. Donald Lyman. “De vraag of cannabis nuttig is of niet kan alleen worden beantwoord wanneer de substantie wordt gelegaliseerd en meer onderzoek wordt gedaan. Dan en alleen dan weten waar we het voor kunnen gebruiken.”

In augustus liet de California Medical Association een reeks aanbevelingen voor medicinale cannabis uitgaan naar artsen waarin stond te lezen dat het medicijn ‘mogelijk effectief is bij de behandeling van misselijkheid, anorexia, pijn en andere aandoeningen (zoals spasticiteit), maar dat meer klinisch onderzoek noodzakelijk is aangaande specifieke indicaties, dosering en bijwerkingen’.

Volgens de artsenorganisatie is bewezen dat ‘de criminalisering van de drug als onderdeel van het zorgbeleid van de Verenigde Staten heeft gefaald’. Afgelopen juni weigerde de Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) een negen jaar oude petitie om de status van cannabis te herzien. Belangengroepen Americans for Safe Access (ASA) en de Coalition for Rescheduling Cannabis (CRC) hebben een aanklacht ingediend tegen het federale agentschap.

In 2009 nam de American Medical Assocation, de grootste artsenorganisatie van de Verenigde Staten, een resolutie aan die de DEA opriep cannabis opnieuw te classificeren om onderzoek te kunnen doen naar cannabis als medicijn.

“Resultaten van tests wijzen er op dat cannabis neuropathische pijn vermindert en de eetlust bevordert, voornamelijk bij patiënten met verminderde spiermassa, en mogelijk spasticiteit en pijn in patiënten met multiple sclerose verzacht,” aldus de resolutie.

Over the last 10 years the use of Caffeine has increased tremendously...
Think of the rise of USA- and Itallian- style coffeeshops that offer a wide variety of strong caffeinated drinks, and the upcoming of the socalled 'Energy-drinks' that give you wings and such...

The increase in schitsophrenic problems might well be attributed to Caffeine instead of cannabis...

Another example:
Asian people are far, and I really mean very far LESS likely to get cancer then European or American persons...
But if this is attributable to the fact that they hardly drink any or no cow-milk, or maybe the fact that they don't eat any corn or much less grane based foods then us...
Thats pretty tough to prove...

Other behavioural changes that have significantly increased over the last 10 years that could be the cause/trigger of a rise in psychological problems amongst youngsters include: computer use, gaming behaviour and the use of social media with 'alter ego' avatar's etc... etc...
Nobody will deny that these all can have a big influence on the psyche of the human brain...

What I wanted to point out is that in my opinion there is no proof for the causal link between cannabis use and schitsophrenia.
It could be attributed to many other things too...

The fact that there might be more schitsophrenics amongst cannabis users.
Does by no means prove that cannabis is the cause.

It might well be that people with dormit or mild and even severe schitsophrenia are attracted by Cannabis because it helps them relax and be in better control of their emotions/actions.

Terwijl de verkochte cake van zeker 450gram per hele cake
maar een fractie THC zal bevatten als de cake getest wordt op percentage THC ;)

Dus nederlandse coffeeshoppers halen voortaan niet een par gram wiet of hasj...
Maar gaan de deur uit met een vers gebakken cake waar 5 gram dikke wiet of hasj in verwerkt zit...

En dus niet meer te verkopen valt aan een nederlandse coffeeshop omdat het ineens een Harddrug is.

If that joint Dutch blogger Peter Lunk is smoking contains more than 15 percent THC, he just became a "hard drug user" according to official Dutch policy. Insanity abounds.

About half the cannabis sold in the Netherlands just got banned -- because it's too good. According to the Dutch government, that joint of White Widow you're smoking is just as bad as heroin or meth. And if they catch you smoking weed they think is "too good," they canthrow you into drug rehab for it.

The Dutch have been a source of both exhilaration and exasperation with their hard-to-pin-down cannabis policies for the past 40 years. Often held up as a model of tolerance by those in less-permissive countries, they actually have some serious perception problems of their own.

A couple of those have come to light recently, first with a move afoot (and gaining ground) to ban foreigners from "coffee shops" in the Netherlands, which sell marijuana and hashish to customers under an odd policy of "official tolerance" wherein cannabis is still officially illegal.

And now, another move from the apparently clueless Dutch leadership, even more nonsensical: They've decided that marijuana is a hard drug -- if it's good.

No, that's not a typo. Despite almost universal agreement among pharmacological experts that marijuana and its active ingredients, the cannabinoids, are non-toxic, relatively benign, maybe even good for you, and impossible to overdose on, they've decided righteous weed is right up there with heroin and cocaine.

The Dutch cabinet is making the decision today (Friday) to count the most potent cannabis as a Class A hard drug in the Netherlands, reports Radio Netherlands Worldwide.

The hashish and marijuana currently sold in the Netherlands contain an average of 18 percent THC, according to the government, which claims (without any real scientific evidence) that "continual high doses of THC can lead to addiction or even cause psychosis."

Professor Henk Garretsen, who chairs the Dutch government's commission on drug policy, unfortunately doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about when it comes to cannabis

The cabinet claimed its decision was based on recommendations by the "Garretsen Commission" presented earlier this year. That commission, headed by anti-pot ideologue Professor Henk Garretsen, said that "hard drugs pose an unacceptable risk to the user," and oh-so-conveniently decided to classify good pot as a "hard drug."

The commission concluded that any marijuana containing more than 15 percent THC falls under its ridiculous "hard drug" classification, which means according to those mental midgets, I've been doing "hard drugs" for years (with only positive effects).

The decision means that if cannabis is found to be above the 15 percent THC limit, its sale will no longer be tolerated. While "soft drugs" such as cannabis and psiloocybin mushrooms aren't technically legal in the Netherlands, the open sale of small quantities through the coffee shops has been tolerated.

The new rule separating cannabis into a soft as well as a hard drug will have several effects, Dutch blogger Peter Lunk of Mr. Lunk's Hideout told Toke of the Town on Friday.

"People will keep wanting to use the weed they have used for years, and if they cannot get this in the shops, they will turn to the home dealers and street dealers to get it," Lunk said. "The price will go up because of the risks involved.

"Often, the street dealers will try to sell them other things like amphetamines, GHB, coke and such," Lunk told Toke of the Town. "This is bad for general public health."

"Those people who used to grow up to five plants within the Dutch tolerance policy towards home growing will be facing serious court cases if they are found to be growing, producing, storing or using 'hard drugs' containing more than 15 percent THC," Lunk said. "Even medical home growers will face this problem.

"Normal people who may carry up to five grams under the tolerance policy could be arrested and face serious court cases resulting in mandatory drug treatment in clinics, if their cannabis is found to be stronger than 15 percent THC," Lunk said, "because then they are by law carrying an illegal List 1 substance."

According to Lunk, coffee shops cannot test the weed because a government-approved lab is needed to do that. "When a coffee shop is found to be selling 15 percent-plus THC weed, they get closed indefinitely and the owner faces heavier charges.

"I also expect a huge growth in the export of strong Dutch weed and prices going up abroad for this now more-exclusive product, for which growers have to take more serious risks," Lunk told me Friday. "The growers are now stuck with, most probably, thousands of kilos of weed that is growing now for the Dutch coffee shops -- which won't buy it from tomorrow on."

According to Lunk, Dutch cannabis consumers also face the specter of coffee shops being entirely out of weed because marijuana with less than 15 percent THC is simply not grown by most commercial growers.

The Cabinet has not said when it will begin enforcing the ridiculous new rule.

Impact on Medical Marijuana Uncertain

It's still unclear the exact impact the new "hard drug" rule for cannabis with more than 15 percent THC will have on medical marijuana in the Netherlands.

"In Holland we have government-subsidised and legalized Bedrocan® medical marijuana," Lunk told Toke of the Town. "Patients have been depending on this variety for years now. And now that state-approved and -provided weed will probably become a hard drug too -- since it contains 19 percent THC..." Lunk's voice trailed off.

"Sad... very sad indeed," he said.

REDICULOUS: Dutch Classify High-Potency Marijuana as Hard Drug

AMSTERDAM -- The Dutch government said Friday it would move to classify high-potency marijuana alongside hard drugs such as cocaine and ecstasy, the latest step in the country's ongoing reversal of its famed tolerance policies.

The decision means most of the cannabis now sold in the Netherlands' weed cafes would have to be replaced by milder variants. But skeptics said the move would be difficult to enforce, and that it could simply lead many users to smoke more of the less potent weed.

Possession of marijuana is technically illegal in the Netherlands, but police do not prosecute people for possession of small amounts, and it is sold openly in designated cafes. Growers are routinely prosecuted if caught.

Economic Affairs Minister Maxime Verhagen said weed containing more than 15 percent of its main active chemical, THC, is so much stronger than what was common a generation ago that it should be considered a different drug entirely.

The high potency weed has "played a role in increasing public health damage," he said at a press conference in The Hague.

The Cabinet has not said when it will begin enforcing the rule.

Jeffrey Parsons, a psychologist at Hunter College in New York who studies addiction, said the policy may not have the benefits the government is hoping for.

"If it encourages smoking an increased amount of low-concentration THC weed, it is likely to actually cause more harm than good," he said, citing the potential lung damage and cancer-causing effects of extra inhalation.

The Dutch Justice Ministry said Friday it was up to cafes to regulate their own products and police will seize random samples for testing.

But Gerrit-Jan ten Bloomendal, spokesman for the Platform of Cannabis Businesses in the Netherlands, said implementing the plan would be difficult "if not impossible."

"How are we going to know whether a given batch exceeds 15 percent THC? For that matter, how would health inspectors know?" he said. He predicted a black market will develop for highly potent weed.

The ongoing Dutch crackdown on marijuana is part of a decade-long rethink of liberalism in general that has seen a third of the windows in Amsterdam's famed prostitution district shuttered and led the Netherlands to adopt some of the toughestimmigration rules in Europe.

The number of licensed marijuana cafes has been reduced, and earlier this year the government announced plans to ban tourists from buying weed. That has been resisted by the city of Amsterdam, where the marijuana cafes known euphemistically as "coffee shops" are a major tourist draw.

Marjan Heuving of the Netherlands' Trimbos Institute, which studies mental health and addiction, said there is a growing body of evidence that THC causes mental illnesses.

She said it stands to reason "the more THC the body takes in, the more the impact." But it has not been demonstrated scientifically that high THC weed is worse for mental health, she said.

Parsons of Hunter College said it remains difficult to be sure whether marijuana causes mental problems or whether people predisposed to, say, depression seek it out as a form of self-medication.

The Trimbos Institute says the average amount of THC in Dutch marijuana is currently around 17.8 percent. It has been declining since 2004 after increasing steadily from 4 percent or so in the 1970s.

By comparison, in the United States the average level of THC in marijuana is around 10 percent and rising, according to the last measure released by the Office of National Drug Control Policy in 2009.

Heuving agreed with Ten Bloomendal that determining THC levels outside of a laboratory setting would prove difficult, as exact content varies widely from batch to batch and even within a single plant.

"I don't know of any home test," she said. "How this is going to work in practical terms, I have no idea."

Fifteen million Americans, or five percent of the population, are currently taking a drug that treats most of their anxiety symptoms. This drug isn’t addictive, can be delivered to your door in certain metropolitan areas, and is cheaper than most of its competitors. Its main side effect? The munchies.
I’m talking about marijuana, a.k.a. Cannabis sativa, and both scientists and pharmaceutical companies are looking to it as a possible cure for what may be our generation’s most pressing psychological affliction.

Perhaps it’s the War on Terror, or our stagnating incomes, or just the fact that Prozac is running out of fresh supplicants and Eli Lilly needs a new disease. Whatever the cause, the data is clear: Americans are growing more nervous, and we want something to take the edge off. Every generation needs a new pandemic, and anxiety is our new depression.
Despite the fact marijuana was first cultivated almost 10,000 years ago, modern medicine has yet to find a pharmaceutical equal. No other substance melts away our fears with such slick efficiency. But that may soon change. A cadre of neuroscientists is now using the natural potency of pot—its active ingredient is Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)—as the possible basis for a next generation anti-anxiety pill.
Before you can understand why pot might be the next Prozac, you have to know a little bit about how marijuana works inside the brain. Our cortex contains a class of proteins called endocannabinoids. These compounds might sound illegal, but they are actually an essential ingredient of normal human brain function. For some mysterious reason, the active ingredient of a tropical shrub—THC—is able to perfectly mimic our natural endocannabinoids, and activate our neural receptors. Pot doesn’t infuse our brain with a foreign substance so much as it activates system that is already there. As Roger Nicoll, a neuroscientist at UCSF, puts it: “the brain makes its own marijuana.” Smoking a joint just helps you make more of it.
It wasn’t until 1984 that scientists even knew the endocannabinoid system existed. By the early 1990’s, researchers began to realize that this neural system was extremely important. For one thing, endocannabinoid receptors (CB1) proved to be one of the most abundant G-protein coupled receptors in the brain. Secondly, CB1 receptors were clustered where it counts, and seemed to populate many of our most important brain areas, like the cerebral cortex, hippocampus, and amygdala.
But scientists still couldn’t figure out what all these natural endocannabinoids did when we weren’t smoking pot. After all, our brains didn’t evolve so that we could get high; our CB1 receptors must also control some aspects of normal brain function. A tantalizing solutionarrived in 2003, from Giovanni Marsicano of the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich. After painstakingly dismantling their endocannabinoid system, he showed that mice lacking normal CB1 receptors could feel fear but couldn’t forget it. In other words, their anxiety is chronic. They are always nervous and twitchy.
Neuroscientists now believe that a faulty endocannabinoid system might play a large part in all sorts of anxiety syndromes from post-traumatic stress disorder to irrational phobias. Furthermore, they are using this knowledge to invent new drugs. The Holy Grail is a THC compound that is targeted to the parts of our brain—like the amygdala—that modulate our sense of fear. Such a pill would give us the anti-anxiety effects of pot, but without the giddiness, stupidity and hunger. While scientists still don’t know if such a site-specific pill is possible—can we just get our amygdala high?—experiments done in the next few years should help resolve the issue.
Needless to say, such a pill would raise all sorts of legal issues at the FDA. Although the FDA has already approved other types of synthetic THC—these drugs are used to treat the nausea brought on by chemotherapy and AIDS—it might be less prone to approve a pot inspired pill that is psychoactive, and deliberately imitates the effects of a fat spliff.

The Vapo-bowl has a standard thread, so it can be attached to all kinds of pipes and bongs, turning them into effective vaporizers. You can easily change the temperature inside the bowl by adjusting the screen position.

The glass Vapo-bowl works the same as the metal one. This glass version fits on almost all glass pipes. Diameter of the glass fitting is 18 mm.

To use this vaporizer, keep a butane gas flame above the entrance of the Vapo-bowl and start inhaling. A stream of very hot air will now flow through the herbs inside the extraction chamber, taking along the vapors that are released. When you remove the flame, the air in the Vapo-bowl will cool down and the vaporization stops.

But I have to say that I knew most of this info allready...
No surprise, since I have been reading learning about... and smoking weed for over 20 years...

I realy wanted a copy of this book because it is nice and small and contains mostly all important information...

It is especially nice to carry around in yer bag or pocket to use as printed proof...

Tja for some strange reason, people don't beleive the real story of possibilities and options that hemp can bring the world...
Including the cure for cancer and many other positive things...

But...
When you can show them what you told is allso in print...
You usually have a much better start to your speach/conversation...

Last week the DEA issued a ludicrously false statement claiming that marijuana "has no accepted medical use in the United States and lacks an acceptable level of safety for use even under medical supervision."

Since when is law enforcement qualified to issue medical opinions?
What's worse, the DEA's stance makes them an obstacle to sound scientific research.

Write to DEA Administrator Michele Leonhart and demand that anti-drug ideology not stand in the way of sound science.

The DEA’s statement came in response to a citizen petition to remove marijuana from the list of Schedule I narcotics, the category of drugs associated with the harshest criminal penalties. Confronted with a rational call for change from reformers like you, the DEA chose to issue blatant lies -- ignoring decades of scientific research, doctors’ expertise, public opinion and the shifting political tide of the nation.

Do they really think anyone is still buying that nonsense? Let’s show the DEA that they can no longer get away with that type of dishonesty. Let’s demand that the federal government make drug policies based in sanity, not fear and hysteria.

Like you, I’m frustrated that the DEA is still peddling absurd scare tactics. But the fact that they’re ramping up the hysteria shows me that we are gaining ground. Hemp is sustainable clothing, footwear, shelter, foods, tree-free paper, cement, gasoline, fuel, nutritious and delicious foods, paint, industrial sealants, industrial composites, and so much more. Its beauty, usefulness, and astounding versatility truly boggle the mind!Hemp oil, for example, has the highest percentage of usable essential fatty acids of any plant, period.

Why hemp? Because it is, by far, Earth's premier, renewable natural resource. The hemp plant can single-handedly reverse the Greenhouse Effect, purify our air, water, & soil, and clothe and shelter us in a sustainable fashion.

Hemp paper lasts 50 to 100 times longer than most preparations of papyrus and is a hundred times easier and cheaper to make. It also does not yellow with age like acidic paper made from tree pulp.

If the hemp pulp paper process of 1916 were in use today, it could replace 40 to 70% of all pulp paper (from trees), including corrugated boxes, computer printout paper and paper bags. Imagine the effect this conversion to hemp paper alone would have on near-extinct species and all forms of wild life, on old-growth forests that are fast disappearing, on the quality of our water, air, and soil, as well as on our planet's sensitive ecosystem!

Hemp stems are 80% hurds (pulp byproduct after the hemp fiber is removed from the plant). Hemp hurds are 77% cellulose--a primary chemical feed stock (industrial raw material) used in the production of chemicals, plastics, and fiber. An acre of full grown hemp plants can sustainably provide from four to 50 or even 100 times the cellulose found in cornstalks, kenaf, or sugar cane--the planet's next highest annual cellulose plants.

Hemp will grow in any state in the US and most of Canada. In most places, hemp can be harvested twice a year and, in warmer areas such as southern California, Texas, Florida and the like, it could be a year-round crop. Hemp has a short growing season and can be planted after food crops have been harvested.

Farming only 6% of continental US acreage with biomass crops would provide all of America's gas and oil energy needs, ending dependence upon fossil fuels.

Hemp is Earth's number-one biomass resource; it is capable of producing 10 tons per acre in four months. Hemp is easy on the soil, sheds its lush foliage throughout the season, adding mulch to the soil and helping retain moisture. Hemp is an ideal crop for the semi-arid West and open range land.

Hemp is the only biomass source available that is capable of making the US energy-independent.

Ultimately, the world has no other rational environmental choice but to give up fossil fuels.

From the farmers' point of view, hemp is an easy crop to grow and will yield from three to six tons per acre on any land that will grown corn, wheat, or oat. It has a short growing season, so that it can be planted after other crops are in. It can be grown in any state of the union. Hemp's long roots penetrate and break the soil to leave it in perfect condition for the next year's crop. The dense shock of leaves, eight to twelve feet above the ground, chokes out weeds, eliminating the need for chemicals or pesticides, 50% of which is used today on conventionally-grown cotton plant alone to produce cotton clothing products that are inferior to hemp clothing in terms of durability, thickness, softness, and sustainability. Two successive hemp crops are enough to reclaim land that has been abandoned because of Canadian thistles or quack grass
The earliest known woven fabric was apparently of hemp, which began to be worked in the eighth millennium (8,000-7,000 BC)."

From more than 1,000 years before the time of Christ until 1883 AD, cannabis hemp--indeed, marijuana--was our planet's largest agricultural crop and most important industry, involving thousands of products and enterprises; producing the overall majority of Earth's fiber, fabric, lighting oil, paper, incense, and medicines. In addition, it was a primary source of essential food oil and protein for humans and animals.
Ninety percent of all ships' sails (since before the Phoenicians, from at least the 5th Century BC until long after the invention and commercialization of steam ships--mid- to late-19th century) were made from hemp.

The word "canvas" is the Dutch pronunciation (twice removed, from French and Latin) of the Greek word "Kannabis."

In addition to canvas sails, until this century virtually all of the rigging, anchor ropes, cargo nets, fishing nets, flags, shrouds, and oakum (the main protection for ships against salt water, used as a sealant between loose or green beams) were made from the stalk of the marijuana plant.

Even the sailors' clothing, right down to the stitching in the seamen's rope-soled and "canvas" shoes, was crafted from cannabis.

Additionally, the ships' charts, maps, logs, and Bibles were made from paper containing hemp fiber from the time of Columbus (15th century) until the early 1900s in the Western European/American world, and by the Chinese from the 1st Century AD on.

Until the 1820s in America (and until the 20th Century in most of the rest of the world), 80% of all textiles and fabrics used for clothing, tents, bed sheets, and linens, rugs, drapes, quilts, towels, diapers, etc.--and even the US flag, "Old Glory," were principally made from fibers of cannabis hemp.
From 70-90% of all rope, twine, and cordage was made from hemp until 1937. It was then regrettably replaced mostly by petrochemical fibers, but at what untold costs to the environment?
Hemp is the perfect archival medium for artists' work, because it is acid-free. The paintings of Van Gogh, Gainsborough, Rembrandt, etc., were primarily painted on hemp canvas, as were practically all canvas paintings.
A strong, lustrous fiber, hemp withstands heat, mildew, insects, and is not damaged by light. Oil paintings on hemp and/or flax canvas have stayed in fine condition for centuries.
For thousands of years, virtually all good paints and varnishes were made with hempseed oil and/or linseed oil.
Until about 1800, hempseed oil was the most consumed lighting oil in America and the world. From then until the 1870s, it was the second most consumed lighting oil, exceeded only by whale oil.
Hempseed oil lit the lamps of the legendary Aladdin, Abraham the prophet, and in real life, Abraham Lincoln. It was the brightest lamp oil.

In the early 1900s, Henry Ford and other futuristic, organic, engineering geniuses recognized (as their intellectual, scientific heirs still do today) an important point--that up to 90% of all fossil fuel used in the world today (coal, oil, natural gas, etc.) should long ago have been replaced with biomass such as : cornstalks, cannabis sativa (hemp), waste paper and the like.

Biomass can be converted to methane, methanol or gasoline at a fraction of the current cost of oil, coal, or nuclear energy--especially when environmental costs are factored in--and its mandated use would end acid rain, end sulfur-based smog, and reverse the Green house Effect on our planet--right now!

Hempseed can be pressed for its highly nutritious vegetable oil, which contains the highest amount of essential fatty acids in the plant kingdom.

Because one acre of hemp produces as much cellulose fiber pulp as 4.1 acres of trees, hemp is the perfect material to replace trees for pressed board, particle board and for concrete construction molds.
Practical, inexpensive fire-resistant construction material, with excellent thermal and sound-insulating qualities, is made by heating and compressing hemp fibers to create strong construction paneling, replacing dry wall and plywood. William B. Conde of Conde's Redwood Lumber, Inc, near Eugene, OR, has demonstrated the superior strength, flexibility, and economy of hemp composite building materials compared to wood fiber, even as beams.

Iso-chanvre (chanvre is French for hemp), a rediscovered French building material made form hemp hurds mixed with lime, actually petrifies into a mineral state and lasts for many centuries. Archeologists have found a bridge in the south of France, from the Merovingian period, built with this process.

Hemp has been used throughout history for carpet backing. Hemp fiber has potential in the manufacture of strong, rot-resistant carpeting--eliminating the poisonous fumes of burning synthetic materials in a house or commercial fire, along with allergic reactions associated with new synthetic carpeting, which may outgas volatile toxic fumes for months or even years, endangering human health.

Plastic plumbing pipes (PVC pipes) can be manufactured using renewable hemp cellulose as the chemical feedstocks, replacing nonrenewable coal or petroleum-based chemical feedstocks.
So we can envision a house of the future built, plumbed, painted, and furnished with the world's number-one renewable resource--hemp.

We believe that in a competitive market, with all facts known, people will rush to buy long-lasting, biodegradable "Pot Tops" or "Mary Jeans," etc, made from hemp grown without pesticides or herbicides.
It's time we put capitalism to the test and let the unrestricted market of supply and demand as well as "Green" ecological consciousness decide the future of the planet.

A cotton shirt in 1776 cost $100 to $200, while a hemp shirt cost $0.50 to $1. By the 1830s, cooler, lighter cotton shirts were on par in price with the warmer, heavier, hempen shirts, providing a competitive choice, thanks to government subsidies.

People were able to choose their garments based upon the particular qualities they wanted in a fabric. Today we have no such choice. Conventional cotton growing, which depletes and pollutes our nonrenewable resources, is still heavily subsidized by the government, masking the true costs of production and costs to the environment, whereas hemp is not allowed to be grown at all in the US (hopefully this is changing, for our planet's sake!).

The role of hemp and other natural fibers should be determined by the market of supply and demand and personal tastes and values, not by the undue influence of prohibition laws, federal subsidies and huge tariffs that are designed to keep the natural fabrics from replacing synthetic fibers.
Sixty years of government suppression of information has resulted in virtually no public knowledge of the incredible potential of the hemp fiber or its uses.

By using 100% hemp or mixing hemp with cotton, you will be able to pass on your shirts, pants, and other clothing to your grandchildren. Intelligent spending could essentially replace the use of petrochemical synthetic fibers such as nylon and polyester with tougher, cheaper, cool, absorbent, breathable, biodegradable natural fibers such as hemp and flax.

China, Italy and Easter European countries such as Hungary, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Poland, and Russia currently make millions of dollars worth of sturdy hemp and hemp/cotton textiles--and could be making billions of dollars worth--annually.

These countries build upon their traditional farming and weaving skills, while the US tries to force the extinction of the hemp plant in the attempt to promote destructive synthetic technologies.

Additionally, hemp grown for biomass could fuel a trillion-dollar-per-year energy industry, while improving air quality and distributing the wealth to rural areas and their surrounding communities, and away from centralized power monopolies. More than any other plant on Earth, hemp holds the promise of a sustainable ecology and economy.

If all fossil fuels and their derivatives, as well as trees for paper and construction were banned in order to save the planet, reverse the Greenhouse Effect and stop deforestation...

Then there is only one known, annually renewable natural resource that is capable of providing the overall majority of the world's paper and textiles; meeting all of the world's transportation, industrial and home energy needs, while simultaneously reducing pollution, rebuilding the soil, and cleaning the atmosphere all at the same time...

And that substance is--the same one that did it all before--Cannabis Hemp!

Hempseed is the highest of any plant in essential fatty acids.

Hempseed oil is among the lowest in saturated fats at 8% of total oil volume. The oil pressed from hempseed contains 55% linoleic acid (LA) and 5% linolenic acid (LNA). Only flax oil has more linolenic acid at 58% , but hempseed oil is the highest in total essential fatty acids at 80% of total oil volume.

These essential fatty acids are responsible for our immune response.

In the old country the peasants ate hemp butter. They were more resistant to diseases than the nobility, who shunned hemp butter as peasant food.

LA and LNA are involved in producing life energy from food and the movement of that energy throughout the body.

Artikel 1 Grondwet biedt een belangrijke basis voor de bestrijding van discriminatie. In dit artikel staat namelijk het gelijkheidsbeginsel en het discriminatieverbod geformuleerd. Het artikel geeft aan dat gelijke gevallen gelijk behandeld dienen te worden (gelijkheidsbeginsel) en dat discriminatie op grond van godsdienst, levensovertuiging, politieke gezindheid, ras, geslacht of op welke grond dan ook niet is toegestaan (discriminatieverbod). Het gelijkheidsbeginsel en het verbod van discriminatie zijn een van de meest fundamentele beginselen van onze rechtsorde.1 In het hierna volgende stuk zal uiteengezet worden wat de betekenis is van artikel 1 Grondwet. Voorts zal worden uiteengezet wie een beroep kan doen op dit artikel en op welke wijze dit kan gebeuren.

Anyone with fond memories of the old arcade days will remember TRON, though few seem to remember the film. The movie-inspired arcade game Light-Cyles spawned a host of clones and actually earned more than the movie during its initial release.

ArmageTron Advanced is one of those clones. Fortunately there are a few things about this game that set it apart from the others:

It's free and available for every OS.
It's in 3-D rather than the classic top-down arcade style.
It also has a free, easy-to-use online multiplayer option.
That last bullet point is the one I'd like to drive home and is the reason this program is so darn fun.
The object of the game is to not hit a wall, though there's far more to it than that. The player pilots a Light-Cycle and can neither speed up nor slow down, only turn left or right using the Z and X keys. As the Light-Cycle moves it leaves behind a solid trail called a wall. Any other players (including yourself) that run into the wall die.

Walls never disappear, so you'll have to be careful not to work yourself into a corner and use your walls to work other players into corners. The last cycle left standing wins. It's also important to note that the closer the player drives to a wall, the faster his Light-Cycle will go. The result is an exiting, fast-paced game full of strategic planning. ArmageTron Advanced also comes with an offline mode for those of us with a slow connection. The AI and gameplay are still completely customizable, so you aren't losing too much.

Speaking of customization, that brings me to another of this program's high points: you can change pretty much whatever you want about the game. When you combine that fact with a wealth of different game modes and possibilities, you have yourself a very addicting and entertaining arcade game.

En weer krijgen we er een pasje bij. Deze moet de uitdijende miljardenhandel in wiet aan banden leggen. En de drugstoeristen uit de hoofdstad en de grensstreken weren. Gaat dat lukken? Nieuwe Revu schetst een scenario.

Amsterdam, 2017, een jaar na de invoering van de wietpas. De jonge vrijbuiters die de hoofdstad jaarlijks bezoeken lopen zoekend rond. De meeste in de reisgidsen nog vermelde coffeeshops zijn dichtgetimmerd of verbouwd tot toeristische sportcafés waar dronken Engelsen zich nog meer volgieten en misdragen.
Hier en daar hangt nog een lichtbord aan de gevel met de tekst ‘coffeeshop’, de vergeelde kleuren steken zachtjes af tegen de grauwe gevels van de vervallen pandjes. Voor de deur staan straatdealers. ‘You wanna smoke, hashies, marihuana?’ sissen ze tegen voorbijgangers die bij gebleken interesse doorgestuurd worden naar een nauw steegje om de hoek. De koper wordt door de steeg geloodst alsof hij met zijn auto door de McDrive rijdt. Bij de eerste jongen in leren jas met bontkraag en kort opgeschoren haar betaalt hij, bij de tweede jongen krijgt hij een zakje wiet van dubieuze kwaliteit of zwaarder spul in zijn handen gedrukt. Wie weigert of van gedachten verandert, krijgt te maken met enig aandringen, gevolgd door dreigementen en intimidatie. Voor de coffeeshops die nog wel open zijn, is er een run op de pasjes. Een jongen met pet vist uit zijn binnenzak een stapel plastic kaarten en zoekt het juiste pasje bij degene die de shop wil bezoeken. Wie zichzelf niet bij een coffeeshop wil laten registreren, leent op deze manier de identiteit van een blonde bijstandsmoeder of berooide postbode die via de jongen hun pasjes tegen grof geld uitlenen.

Het lijkt een wat dik aangezet scenario voor de toekomst, maar is niet geheel ondenkbaar als de wietpas er komt. Want hoewel de eerste concrete plannen pas in april gepresenteerd worden, laat het ministerie van Justitie al weten dat het ‘zeer waarschijnlijk’ is dat de pas persoons- en coffeeshopgebonden gaat worden. Dat betekent dat niet alleen toeristen uit de coffeeshops geweerd zullen worden, maar dat ook de Nederlandse wietroker zich officieel bij de overheid als ‘cannabis- gebruiker’ moet laten registreren en coffeeshops met een ‘ledensysteem’ moeten gaan werken. Het is nog nooit uitgeprobeerd, maar de verwachting is niet dat Nederlanders enthousiast in de rij zullen staan om zich als blowers bij een coffeeshop in te schrijven. ‘Door deze maatregel stuur je niet alleen toeristen naar de illegale markt, maar ook Nederlandse gebruikers,’ zegt Nicole Maalsté, onderzoekster aan de Universiteit van Tilburg. De Partij voor de Vrijheid biedt in ieder geval geen vrijheden voor diegenen die cannabis weten te waarderen. De gristelijke partijen zijn al jaren tegen alle stoffen die, in hun ogen, een goede relatie met de heer in de weg staan. Het netto effect in het politieke landschap is een verschuiving van een liberaal softdrugsbeleid naar een rigide verbodsbeleid en criminalisering van alles wat naar wiet ruikt. Maar is het wel verstandig om ons gedoogbeleid overboord te zetten en keihard law & order toe te passen? Als het gaat om een cannabisdebat bestaan er een heleboel misvattingen, desinformatie en propaganda. Wat weten we eigenlijk van cannabis?

Het aantal landelijke coffeeshops is gedaald van 702 in 2007 naar 666 vorig jaar en dat is nog maar het begin. Aan de andere kant is het aantal thuiskwekers gestegen. Van de 738 Belgische wiettelers die in 2009 tegen de lamp liepen bleken er 526 voor persoonlijk gebruik te kweken. In 2007 werden 466 Belgische wietplantages ontmanteld. Maar niet alleen het terugdringen van het aantal coffeeshops heeft prioriteit, ook is de overheid druk doende om een zogenaamde ''wietpas'' in het leven te roepen. Met deze wietpas kunnen alleen Nederlanders bij de laatst overgebleven coffeeshops hun wietje kopen. Volgens sommigen zou dat een ramp zijn. Amsterdam zou bijvoorbeeld hierdoor de interesse van de vele toeristen verliezen en zodoende veel inkomsten mislopen.

Inmiddels is een hevig publiek en politiek debat gaande waarbij vooral de anti-wiet groep te horen is. De argumenten waarmee de anti-wiet groep hun stelling verdedigt zijn doorgaans uit hun verband gerukt of gewoon niet waar, maar worden wel telkens breed in de media of door politici als ''waarheden'' herhaald. Vandaag brengen wij geen politiek maar kei-harde wetenschap om voor eens en altijd de zin en onzin over cannabis te scheiden.

"Het is maar een marginale groep mensen die cannabis gebruikt"

Verschillende officiële schattingen spreken van 130 tot 190 miljoen mondiale gebruikers tussen de 15 en 64 jaar. Een aantal dat volgens onderzoekers in 15 landen aan het stijgen is. We spreken dus over 2.9% tot 4.3% van de wereldbevolking, waarvan de meesten in Noord-Amerika en Europa wonen. Ongeveer 2,5 miljoen Nederlanders zouden ''ooit'' cannabis gebruikt hebben, waarvan 363.000 ''recent'' gebruik rapporteerden. 80.000 gebruikers zouden dat dagelijks doen. "Tegenwoordig zit er zo veel THC in de cannabis dat van softdrugs geen sprake meer is"

THC is het voornaamste ingrediënt van de cannabisplant dat de gewenste effecten teweeg brengt. Tegenstanders menen dat in de loop der jaren dankzij intensievere teel- en kweekmethoden het gehalte aan THC ''gevaarlijk hoog'' zou zijn in vergelijking tot de kwaliteit uit de jaren '60 en '70. Tegenwoordig zou het gehalte THC tot wel 10 keer meer zijn.

Uitkomsten van verschillende onderzoeken onderschrijven die beweringen niet. Het is wel zo dat de kwaliteit van Amerikaanse cannabis voor wat betreft het THC-gehalte gestegen is. In Europa zijn de THC-gehaltes min of meer gelijk gebleven. Voor 1980 gold Amerikaanse cannabis in vergelijking tot Europese cannabis als lage kwaliteit. In 2008 onderzochten 23 Britse politieafdelingen de potentie van in beslag genomen cannabis. Uit de onderzochte 2.2921 monsters kwamen de volgende cijfers naar voren:

De gemiddelde THC-concentratie was 16.2% (in een bereik van 4.1% tot 46%). Van de geïmporteerde cannabis lag het gemiddelde op 8.4% (in een bereik van 0.3% tot 22%). Deze waarden liggen dicht bij de waarden uit eerdere jaren.

"Gebruik van cannabis leidt tot extra ziektekosten"

Van alle landen kent Australië het hoogste aantal cannabisgebruikers. Uit recentelijke Australische studies blijkt dat cannabisgebruik voor 0.2% zou drukken op de gezondheidszorg. Ter vergelijking zouden alcohol en sigaretten verantwoordelijk zijn voor een lastendruk op de gezondheidszorg van respectievelijk 2.3% en 2.5%.

Er zijn aanwijzingen dat licht gebruik van cannabis leidt tot een verminderde kans op verschillende vormen van kanker.

"Het gebruik van overmatig cannabis is dodelijk"

Voor zover bekend uit de officiële stukken is er nog nooit iemand overleden aan het (overmatig) gebruik van cannabis alleen. Onderzoek op apen en andere dieren wees uit dat het praktisch onmogelijk is om een overdosis cannabis naar binnen te werken. Zo zou iemand van 70 kilo minstens 70 gram cannabis moeten doorslikken om in de gevarenzone te komen. In 1995 kwam de Wereld Gezondheids Organisatie ook al tot dezelfde conclusie.

Diverse onderzoeken konden niet aantonen dat er een verband is met neuropsychologische stoornissen. Grappig is om op te merken dat onderstaande onderzoekers er op voorhand vanuit gingen die verbanden wel te vinden.

Er is geen verband gevonden tussen het gebruik van cannabis en neurocognitieve functies. Langdurig gebruik van cannabis zorgt er wel voor dat voor wat betreft de onderdelen leren en vergeten de gebruiker iets afwijkt van de controlegroep, een effect dat vanzelf weg gaat als men stopt met het gebruik van cannabis.

Actuele gebruikers van 5 of meer jointjes per week scoren inderdaad iets minder tijdens intelligentietesten. Een effect dat vanzelf verdwijnt zodra men stopt met het gebruik van cannabis.

Men volgde 15 jaar lang 1.318 deelnemers om de effecten van cannabis op de cognitie te meten. Onderzoekers vonden geen significante verschillen tussen zware en lichte gebruikers en niet-gebruikers.

"Pubers worden door cannabis gebruik zombies die de hele dag op hun bed liggen en school verwaarlozen"

Het amotivatiesyndroom (apathie, lusteloos, lethargisch) bij pubers wordt vaak toegeschreven aan het gebruik van cannabis. Ook in dit geval werd er geen oorzakelijk verband gevonden. Wel lijkt het erop dat pubers die lijden aan het amotivatiesyndroom eerder geneigd zijn om cannabis te gebruiken. De Wereld Gezondheids Organisatie zei hierover het volgende: "It is doubtful that cannabis use produces a well defined amotivational syndrome."

"Je krijgt psychoses of wordt schizofreen als je cannabis gebruikt"

Er zijn onderzoeken waarbij er een link wordt gelegd tussen cannabisgebruik en psychoses of schizofrenie. Aangenomen wordt dat het gebruik van cannabis sluimerende psychoses en aanverwante stoornissen kan opwekken. Anderzijds zijn er ook onderzoeken die geen direct causaal verband hebben gevonden; immers in de voorkomende gevallen bleken de gebruikers doorgaans bevattelijk voor psychotische aandoeningen en is het nog maar de vraag wat precies de rol van cannabis is. Demografisch gezien is de kans dat een cannabisgebruiker of niet-gebruiker psychotische aandoeningen krijgt gelijk, namelijk minder dan 3%. Een verhoging in het aantal cannabisgebruikers heeft tot nu toe niet geleidt tot meer mensen met psychotische aandoeningen.

"Langdurig gebruik van cannabis leidt tot serieuze gezondheidsproblemen".

Tot nu toe is niet onomstotelijk bewezen dat cannabis na jarenlang dagelijks gebruik de oorzaak is geweest van gerezen gezondheidsproblemen. Hoogstens kan men stellen dat: "on existing patterns of use, cannabis poses a much less serious public health problem than is currently posed by alcohol and tobacco in Western societies." Wel is het zo dat diegenen die cannabis roken een verhoogde kans hebben op blijvende beschadigingen aan het cardiovasculair systeem en de luchtwegen, al zijn die laatste twee meer toe te schrijven aan de tabak dan aan de cannabis.

"Cannabisgebruikers vormen als verkeersdeelnemers een onaanvaardbaar risico"

Hoewel het niet verstandig is om in benevelde toestand aan het verkeer deel te nemen vallen de risico's van het gebruik van cannabis en het deelnemen aan het verkeer in de praktijk wel mee. Cannabisgebruikers zijn door de effecten geneigd hun rijstijl aan te passen waardoor ze minder risico's nemen of vormen. Ze rijden minder hard, vermijden ''lastige'' manoeuvres en zijn zich, in tegenstelling tot alchoholgebruikers, bewust van de mate waarin ze onder invloed zijn. Onderzoekers zijn het erover eens dat rijden onder invloed van cannabis een negatief effect heeft op de rijvaardigheid maar door compensatie, de aangepaste rijstijl, vormen cannabisgebruikers een minder risico op de weg dan niet- gebruikers. Een uur na het gebruik van cannabis zijn de negatieve effecten op de rijvaardigheid niet meer meet- of aantoonbaar.

"Gedogen of legaliseren van cannabis leidt tot meer gebruik"

Er zijn geen bewijzen gevonden dat na het gedogen van cannabis in Nederland in 1976 het gebruik van cannabis is toegenomen. Tot 1996 bleef het gemiddelde aantal Nederlandse gebruikers gelijk aan of zelfs onder het aantal Amerikaanse gebruikers. En dat terwijl de strafmaat voor het bezit en gebruik van cannabis in Amerika veel zwaarder is. Het is niet bewezen dat een streng cannabisbeleid van verbieden en bestraffen heeft geleid tot een vermindering in gebruik.

Criminalisering leidt wel tot aanzienlijke verhogingen van kosten voor zowel de maatschappij in het algemeen en het justitieel apparaat in het bijzonder en werkt zware criminaliteit in de hand. Door criminalisering komen veel, doorgaans nette en jonge, burgers in aanraking met de politie, wat mogelijk gevolgen heeft voor hun toekomst.

Ondanks de eenvoudige verkrijgbaarheid zijn er in Nederland, vergeleken met het Europese gemiddelde, iets minder gebruikers. De prevalentie van recent (laatste jaar) gebruik in Europa is 7%; in Nederland is die 5%.

"Cannabisgebruikers zijn gewelddadig"

Onderzoeken naar gewelddadigheden en het gebruik van cannabis wijzen erop dat cannabis gewelddadig gedrag eerder voorkomt dan veroorzaakt. Cannabis heeft door haar specifieke effecten een pacificerende werking op gebruikers.

Een vaak gehoord argument tegen cannabis is dat een jointje roken onvermijdelijk zou leiden tot een carrière als volledig junk met als eindresultaat een neus vol coke of een heroïne-shot in de arm. In 1999 was de conclusie van het Institute of Medicine dat onderzoek deed naar de zogenaamde "gateway theory" (dat gebruik van cannabis zou leiden tot gebruik van andere (hardere) drugs het volgende: "There is no conclusive evidence that the drug effects of marijuana are causally linked to the subsequent abuse of other illicit drugs."

Zijn drugsverslaafden hun carrière inderdaad begonnen met cannabis? Nee. Vrijwel alle harddruggebruikers zijn begonnen met een nicotine- en/of alcoholverslaving. Er is geen causaal verband tussen cannabisgebruik en het gebruik van andere drugs.

Het RIVM, het adviesorgaan voor de overheid, heeft een risicoschatting gedaan. Het rapport kunt u hier nalezen. De conclusies van de risicoschatting komen goed tot uiting in het onderstaande overzicht.

Cannabis, wiet, marijuana of weed, al duizenden jaren lang kent de mensheid het gebruik van deze opzienbarende plant. Soms werd de plant als heilig sacrement gebruikt in sjamanistische rituelen en soms puur als genotsmiddel. Tegenwoordig wordt cannabis steeds vaker op doktersrecept uitgeschreven als middel tegen chronische pijnen. In medisch opzicht is cannabis een van de veiligste therapeutische middelendie een arts kan voorschrijven. Door jarenlange misinformatie en soms keiharde propaganda hebben heel veel mensen een verkeerd beeld van cannabis en haar gebruikers. Lees bijvoorbeeld hier maar de comments van Telegraaflezers onder een artikel over cannabis en toerisme. Zij vormen mede het draagvlak waarop de politiek haar standpunten bepaalt.

De huidige overheid weet dat in de ons omringende landen het gebruik van cannabis ondanks stevige verboden en straffen hoger is dan in Nederland. Het rigide beleid tegen het gedogen of legaliseren van cannabis is niet gebaseerd op feiten maar op een politieke, morele en deels religieuze ideologie. Dat het her-criminaliseren van cannabis zal leiden tot hogere (maatschappelijke en justitiële) kosten en de zwarte handel in de hand werkt terwijl het gebruik niet zal dalen maakt hen niets uit. Ideologie is net als een geloof een blinde reus: het kan bergen verzetten, maar ziet niet welke.

Handtekeningenactie om Tweede Kamer hard- en softdrugs te laten reguleren

De Stichting Drugsbeleid lanceert vandaag een petitie die iedereen kan tekenen om de Tweede Kamer op te roepen het debat over regulering van hard- en softdrugs aan te gaan. Veel politici gaan dit debat liever uit de weg, maar met 40.000 handtekeningen komt het onderwerp op de agenda en moet de Kamer het bespreken.

De Stichting Drugsbeleid is voor het toestaan van productie, verkoop en bezit van drugs, met strikte regels voor een zo gering en veilig mogelijk gebruik. “Regulering dringt de criminaliteit met tientallen procenten terug en bespaart miljarden. Precies de speerpunten van de regeringscoalitie !”, aldus voorzitter Raimond Dufour. Tevens maakt het de gezondheidsrisico's beheersbaar.

Het huidige verbod van soft- en harddrugs veroorzaakt minstens de helft van alle criminaliteit in Nederland. Daarmee kost het burgers en bedrijven dik 15 miljard per jaar. "Door drugs te reguleren kunnen politie en justitie zich bezig gaan houden met zinnigere zaken” zegt Dufour. “Daarnaast levert regulering de Nederlandse schatkist miljarden op, omdat accijns kan worden geheven en er niet langer geld verdwijnt in de bodemloze put van het drugsverbod ".

Regulering leidt niet tot meer gebruik, stelt de Stichting Drugsbeleid. De coffeeshops noch de gedoogregels bij de andere drugs hebben de gevreesde ramspoed gebracht. Integendeel: in Nederland wordt juist minder gebruikt dan in repressievere landen als Frankrijk, Engeland en de Verenigde Staten.

Regulering leidt tot drastische beperking van het aantal verkooppunten, tot kwaliteitscontrole en geloofwaardige voorlichting. Een veel effectievere manier om drugsmisbruik tegen te gaan !

Short answer: No.
I have been asked this question several times and it makes me wonder what people are really trying to ask...

So here's a longer answer.
There are 66 known cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. Your body makes endocannabinoids that plug into the two known cannabinoid receptors in your body. It so happens that some plants produce compounds which are shaped just like the endocannabinoid compounds our body produces. Just like a large part of our pain management pharmacopoeia is based on adding plant-derived opiod compounds into our bodies, cannabinoids have a wide range of effects on appetite, pain, memory and mood.
The first cannabinoid isolated by humankind was delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC for short. THC is generally considered to be partly responsible for the euphoric effects of cannabis. But there are many other cannabinoids that are as important, if not more so, for those interested in natural medicine.
The THC molecule is largely inactive until it is heated to around 220 degrees farenheit, at which pointdecarboxylization happens. This removes the attached "carboxyl group" and turns THCA into psychoactive THC.
Pot smokers don't need to know this because it happens automatically when they smoke pot, heating the vegetative matter well beyond 220 degrees farenheit. In fact, if you imagine a joint, the cannabinoids in the burning "cherry" are being almost entirely incinerated. Directly behind the cherry, when the pot smoker draws in, the vegetative matter is being heated to a point between 200-400 where decarboxylization happens and the active cannabinoids vaporize into the (paper-wrapped) air, being drawn into the pot smoker's airways with a host of other toxic chemicals.
Decarboxylization is mostly a concern for ingested or topical cannabis preperations. When cooking with pot, most people recommend heating the material to something around 200-300 degrees in order to "activate" the THC cannabinoids before ingestion.
I've seen some people that recommend a microwave for this purpose, turned on high for 1-2 minutes. Assuming that heats the liquids in your pot to around 220 farnheit, it should work. But you would also be sticking your pot in the microwave. And then you'd have to answer to yourself, and perhaps others, the question......

"Why the hell am I microwaving my weed?"
